RU Marketplace Updates

Alignment of RU Marketplace Ship-to-Address and IP&O Space Management Address
On February 4, 2022, there will be an update to many of the university addresses and building codes used in RU Marketplace. This change will standardize the information in Jaggaer/Marketplace and Archibus, Rutgers Space Management System.

Please note the addresses and building codes will not be searchable in RU Marketplace until the update takes effect on February 4th.

What You Need to Know? 
When copying a cart to requisition, an error message will occur if the building number has changed. You may receive an error message under your Ship To Information (below).
To correct the error, you will need update the address. For additional information and instructions, please view the job aid available in Canvas.
Travel & Expense
IRS Issues Standard Mileage Rates For 2022
The Internal Revenue Service issued the 2022 standard mileage rate for calculating reimbursement for use of a personal vehicle for business purposes. The Oracle Expense system has been updated per IRS guidance..
 
There is no action required from you. Effective January 1, 2022, the standard mileage rate will be $0.585/mile.

New ACE Program Suppliers
Fifteen (15) new suppliers have been welcomed into the ACE program, offering expertise across all 10 ACE categories of service. These suppliers range from solopreneurs with specialized skill sets to full-service agencies who offer solutions for all marketing and communications needs with any range of budget.

The ACE Vendor Listing, has been updated through a joint effort between University Communications and Marketing and University Procurement Services to include the following suppliers:

The benefits of using the ACE Program remain:
  • Master Service Agreements are in place so you can get to work faster with an ACE Supplier
  • All ACE Suppliers have been trained in Rutgers Brand Standards and Procurement Policies
  • Costs are exclusive to Rutgers, resulting in savings for most projects
New ACE Program Supplier Virtual Introductions
To help introduce you to the capabilities of the new ACE Program suppliers, UCM is hosting a series of virtual meet-and-greet sessions with these ACE suppliers. You will have the opportunity to preview the services and unique expertise of vendors and ask questions. Three intro sessions will be held on Thursday at 10 am starting on February 17 and running through March 3. Each session will be 60 minutes and will focus on the following ACE supplier categories:

  • February 17: Marketing Campaigns, and Market Research Suppliers
  • February 24: Ad Strategy, Photography, and Video Suppliers
  • March 3: Communication Messaging, Writing and Editing, and Web Design Suppliers
 
Register for as many sessions as you like here by Monday, February 7. You’ll receive a confirmation email and meeting invite for each session that you choose, with a link to join that session.
New Supplier "Badges" Launched in Labviva catalog!
Local and Diverse Suppliers are now easily identified via new “Local Supplier” and “Diversity Supplierbadges deployed in the Labviva RU Marketplace research and healthcare catalog. 
Diversity Supplier indicates a supplier that has completed a formal third-party certification process and is recognized as a certified diverse supplier.
Local Supplier indicates a supplier who is based in New Jersey. Utilizing local suppliers further supports the university's supplier diversity and sustainability initiatives.
Friendly reminder: Labviva is a software platform that consolidates multiple supplier catalogs into one catalog. It brings in relevant scientific citations for specific products, allows users to compare products on multiple attributes such as price, and packaging size and offers a one stop shop for obtaining supplier contact information. For more Labviva details, kindly visit the Procurement website, and access the Labviva catalog via RU Marketplace.
