Weekly Director Letter 06/17/2022
Dear Parents,

What an amazing action-packed first week of summer camp. With nearly 25 new kids starting, our staff did such an amazing job orienting the new kids and settling in the kids moving from other classes.

The week had many highlights....
Our kids in Rainbow, Orange, Brown, Purple, Silver, and Gold were treated to a musical storytime from the Miami Children's Museum. That students who attended will see a $7 charge on their Brightwheel accounts. Our Kids in Yellow and Red Doors had a free storyteller from the Miami Library. Everyone had a fabulous time!
This week was all about Dads...Students made beautiful works of art and dads were treated to Donuts and other goodies as they received their gifts. Photos were taken and displayed...If you did not get yours, get it on Monday as a little gift from the school. You can also download the photos here:
Our students also enjoyed their weekly music class with our marvelous music teacher Miss Clarice. She will visit classes weekly for a music class.

Next week, all classes except Yellow and Red will have a 30 minute adventure on the Jungle Gym. If your child is in attendance on Monday, you will see your account being billed $6 for this on-site field trip.

Students in Rainbow, Brown, Orange, Purple, Silver and Gold also started a Karate class twice a week. Families who signed up will see a weekly billing of $13 to your account. Those classes take place Tuesday and Thursday mornings. If you wish to still sign up, please message me in Brightwheel or send me an email to bethdavis@kidsforkidsacademy.com.

Families have asked if we will be open on Monday for Juneteenth. We will be open on this National Holiday.
Finally, a fabulous Father's Day to all dads!
