Dear Saint Clare Family,
Christ is risen. He is risen indeed, Alleluia!
This is the Church’s traditional Easter greeting.
I greet you in this Easter Season with exciting news. On Pentecost, May 23, Archbishop Hartmayer is reinstating the Sunday obligation to attend Mass. For most of us, this doesn’t affect us. However, to those of you still waiting to come back, I’d like to invite you to take advantage of this opportunity to return to the celebration of Holy Mass. Christ was born in the flesh, he rose in the flesh, and He comes to us in the flesh in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar, the Eucharist.
Some notable changes that have been made recently and will continue to be made are the reintroduction of the holy water font in the narthex, the offertory procession with bread and wine, the passing of the baskets for the collection, and a reduction of distanced required between groups.
