Book Focus: Families United
Continuing on from the previous newsletter about "Daddy's Loophole", I had decided while writing that to set it in the same college town as "Package Deal", then made sure I set it time-wise after that story's events (still 2019).

But, except for setting its first scene in Todd Haven's new downtown coffee shop location and connecting the characters of Gloria and Ashley to the Parkland family, none of the characters from "Package Deal" make an appearance.

"Families United," as the 3rd book in the newly defined series, set out to change that in a big way. It introduces not only Gloria's family, but brings the Thompson, Alvarez, Haven, Sampson and Parkland families together, in a secret-spilling gathering at Christmas Eve. What did they reveal? You'll have to get the book to find out, now won't you? 😎

At the same time, I'm setting up the characters of Sarah and Tom Kinsey, before fully introducing them in the 4th book, and knowing that I'll need to deal with the beginning of Covid-19 restrictions when the timeline reaches March 2020.

All told, a rather busy book.
