2022 SPRING TRYOUT ANNOUNCEMENT
Basketball Parents :

Fever team tryouts are right around the corner. We are excited to be forming teams for boys in grades 4-11. If you are interested in joining a competitive team this summer, we hope you will consider attending one of our upcoming tryouts. Here are some details about our tryouts:
 Who: 

Boys in grades 4 through 11 are invited to compete for spots on our State teams. 

When: 

Saturday, March 5th for 12U/13U/14U/15U/16U/17U

Sunday, March 6th for 10U/11U

Where:

Immanuel Lutheran Church and School, Loveland

Age Specific Times:

Boys 4th Grade (10U): March 6th, 1:00 pm-2:15 pm

Boys 5th Grade (11U): March 6th, 1:00 pm-2:15 pm

Boys 6th Grade (12U): March 5th, 2:00 pm-3:30 pm

Boys 7th Grade (13U): March 5th, 2:00 pm-3:30 pm

Boys 8th Grade (14U): March 5th, 4:00 pm-5:15 pm

Boys 9th Grade (15U): March 5th, 6:00 pm-7:30 pm

Boys 10th/11th Grade(16U/17U): March 5th, 7:30 pm- 9:00 pm
High School Season Information:

Fever Basketball will provide a National and State team option for high school players (9th-11th grade). National teams will be formed by invite only and are for Varsity level players. State teams will be formed via open tryouts and are a great option for players who do not want to travel, but still want to play in the most competitive local and regional tournaments. The tournament schedule for State teams is competitive, and will give players the opportunity to play in front of regional college coaches. This is a great option for any players who desire to have a great HS basketball career and who want to improve their knowledge of the game and individual skills. Practices will start the week of March 20th, and will be 2 hours twice a week. There will be no practice or tournaments in the month of June.

2026 National Team Information:

Fever will be forming one travel team in the 2026 age group (8th grade) that will be playing in the Under Armour Future Mid-America Circuit. The tryout for this team is on a different date than all other team tryouts and has a separate tryout registration. This team is for elite level 2026 players who desire to start competing on a national stage. The season will begin the week of March 20th and go through June. Practices will be 2 hours twice a week. The first 40 minutes of each practice will be spent specifically on skill development using a club wide skills training program developed by Executive Director, Malik Brooks. After the traditional spring/summer season ends in June, families will have the option to participate in Fever Basketball School in the months of July and August. During these months, boys will have the opportunity to train multiple times a week in a small group setting to continue to develop their individual skill sets. Fever Basketball School registration will begin in June and will be open to the community at large.

4th-8th Grade Season Information:

Fever Basketball will provide both competitive and developmental teams for 4th-8th graders. We use a color system to differentiate the two types of teams, Black (competitive) and Orange (developmental). Our tournament schedule will give players at both levels the opportunity to play in high quality tournaments in Colorado that are appropriate for their team's skill level. The 4th-8th grade season will begin mid-April and go through the end of June. Practices will start the week of April 10th, and will be 2 hours twice a week. The first 40 minutes of each practice will be spent specifically on skill development using a club wide skills training program developed by Malik Brooks. All teams will use the same skills training program to insure that the fundamentals are being taught at all levels and on all teams uniformly. After the traditional spring/summer season ends in June, families will have the option to participate in Fever Basketball School in the months of July and August. During these months, boys will have the opportunity to train multiple times a week in a small group setting to continue to develop their individual skill sets. Fever Basketball School registration will begin in June and will be open to the community at large.
