Amanda Pullinger
Chief Executive Officer, 100 Women in Finance

Ms. Pullinger is the Chief Executive Officer of 100 Women in Finance. She leads a staff team and provides direction to 500 volunteer practitioners globally. The organization, which now has nearly 20,000 registered members in 26 locations, is focused on empowering women in the finance industry and inspiring the next generation of pre-career young women. Ms. Pullinger is a former principal of Aquamarine Capital Management, where she was responsible, over a period of seven years, for managing marketing, investor relations and back office administration for two private investment funds. Ms. Pullinger is Chair and Non Executive Director of the Board of FlyPlymouth, based in Plymouth, UK. She also serves on the Boards of the HALO Trust (USA), the American Friends of The National Portrait Gallery (London) Foundation and as a Director on the Oxford University Alumni Board. She is President of the Brasenose Society, Vice Chair of the Women’s Network Forum and an Advisory Board Member of the Harambe Entrepreneur Alliance (Harambe). Previously, she served as Chairman of the Board of The HALO Trust (www.halotrust.org) and served on the Board of Langone NYU Cancer Institute. She was on the founding Board of 100 Women in Finance, serving as its President for two years. She is a member of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. Ms. Pullinger graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University in 1987 with an Honours Degree in Modern History. She earned an MBA from La Salle University, Philadelphia, in 1998, and received the Academic Award for MBA student of the year as well as the Beta Gamma Sigma designation.

Ajay Nagpal
Chief Operating Officer, Millennium

Ajay Nagpal is Millennium’s Chief Operating Officer overseeing the various business areas of Millennium’s global activities. Prior to joining Millennium, Mr. Nagpal was the Global Head of Prime Services at Barclays. He occupied this position since 2008, having transitioned to Barclays as part of the acquisition of Lehman Brothers’ U.S. businesses. In that role, he was responsible for various business lines including Fixed Income Financing, Equity Financing and Prime Brokerage, Futures Clearing and Execution, Foreign Exchange Prime Brokerage and OTC Derivatives Clearing. He was a Managing Director with Lehman Brothers from 2001-2008. He began as Head of Liquid Market Sales in Fixed Income where he supervised the firm’s distribution efforts across a variety of products, including Interest Rate Products and Corporate Risk Solutions. In 2005, he transitioned to the role of Global Head of Equities Sales, overseeing a team of 800 sales professionals worldwide across all Equities products, including Cash Equities, Convertible Bonds, Equity Derivatives and Prime Services. Mr. Nagpal began his career at JP Morgan in 1992 as a Managing Director responsible for Municipal Derivatives before transitioning to Head of Fixed Income Derivatives Marketing for Financial Institutions. Mr. Nagpal has a BA from Brown University and a Masters in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

Lauren Malafronte
Managing Director, Scotiabank / Global Chair,100 Women in Finance

Lauren Malafronte is a Managing Director at Scotiabank, responsible for Client Management for both Prime Services globally and Global Capital Markets in the US. Prior to joining Scotiabank in 2013, Lauren was the Head of Client Service for Prime Services at Barclays. She began her career as a Computer Programmer/Business Analyst for various financial institutions before she moved into the Equity Finance business while at Lehman Brothers. Lauren is currently the Chair of the Board of Directors of 100 Women in Finance, a global association of over 20,000 professionals in the financial industry. Lauren received a BBA in Computer Information Systems and an MBA in Finance from Baruch College (CUNY).
