New Event Coming to Camp Hanover
Camp Hanover hosts a new event this fall, built around the family fun of Halloween. At Hollowed Harvest, walk the beautiful camp property to discover more than 7,000 jack-o'-lanterns arranged in stunning landscapes and larger-than-life displays. Designed to amaze audiences of all ages, Hollowed Harvest runs Thursday through Sundays, September 24 to October 31. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
Hebron Hosts Bluegrass Concert
Hebron Church in Manakin-Sabot is hosting a bluegrass concert on Sunday, September 26, at 5:00 p.m. Featured performers are the Hebron Boys, a local group. All are welcome to attend the indoor concert (masks encouraged). After, enjoy food and fellowship outside. Bring lawn chairs. Food prices range from $3 to $14.
Camp Dedicating New Bell and Tower
Camp Hanover invites you to join a service of dedication for the new camp bell and bell tower at Wise Lodge on September 30 at 2:00 p.m. The bell is a gift from the congregation of New Covenant Church who recently merged with Southminster Church. POJ Disaster Relief Ministry volunteers built the tower. The service will take place outside and also be livestreamed on Camp Hanover's Facebook page. Everyone is invited to enjoy fellowship and refreshments immediately following the service. 
South Plains Shares Story of CROP Hunger Walk
South Plains Church hosts organizers of the CROP Hunger Walk and Church World Service via Zoom on October 6 at 10:30 a.m. Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the CROP Walk and learn about its history and impact, both locally and internationally. This event is part of South Plains Church’s monthly Agape Conversations series.
