Spring is so beautiful here… especially since we have flowers and more flowers around ODEC. Thanks to our talented creative flower guild, little beds keep popping up and lots of color. God’s love keeps shining if we only open our eyes and look.
Last Sunday was full of love… and lambs. With the rain, we had to move inside the unfinished Great Hall. But fortunately it was clean, safe, and comfortable. And for the first time we figured out how to comply with the Diocesan Guidelines AND have our St. Cecilia choir and Gathering Band support the worship with their beautiful music. Complete that picture with a bunch of little kids who loved “Loretta” — our 7 month old ewe lamb and you couldn’t ask for more. Thanks especially to Neeve Whalen who for the third time brought her 4-H project lamb to ODEC for Good Shepherd Sunday.
This Sunday I get to preach again and talk about Jesus’ imagery of vine and branches as advice for our spirits and life today. The weather forecast looks like it might be our best day since last October, so let’s spend our morning together in praise, thanksgiving, and contemplation.
Genevieve is home and very thankful for your prayers, love, and support!
Alleluia! Christ is risen!
