Find Your Fall Book Club!

These's a book club for every book lover at Cary Library.

Highly Recommended!

Foundation Board Member Sandra Galejs said she was “amazed” when she first joined Cary Library’s Nonfiction Book Club over a decade ago. “People do their research,” she says, so the monthly discussions about the merit of a narrative history or popular science book often offer “a deeper perspective.”

From Biography to Whodunit

Selections may include an occasional biography, such as Oppenheimer, or a historical whodunit, such as Who Killed Jane Stanford? about the Gilded Age cold-case murder of the co-founder of Stanford University. Something else Galejs noticed about the Nonfiction Book Club? “Lexingtonians are not shy about sharing their opinions!”

For Lively Conversation

You can join any time! Book clubs - whether fiction, nonfiction, topical - or simply 'Monday Night', are listed on the Cary Library website. Check out what the clubs are reading, if they are virtual or in-person, find contact information, and learn more.
