RED FRIDAY for OLP this Friday, January 14 as we get ready to cheer on our Kansas City Chiefs in the Wild Card Game this Sunday! Students may wear their Chiefs gear with dress down bottoms. Team colors are ok too! Please adhere to Dress Down Guidelines.

Apex Leadership Co, a locally owned company, will have team members leading OLP students through a character building, fitness-focused event fundraiser beginning with a kick-off pep rally on Tuesday, January 18.

The Apex program will run from January 18 through January 28 and will culminate with the Apex GLOW RUN, a fitness/running event all students will participate in. Throughout the two week period, students can gather flat donations or pledges for each 'lap' they complete during the event.

Funds raised will benefit Presentation school and a portion will be donated to Operation Breakthrough.

CSW DONATIONS & VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: Catholic Schools Week (January 30 - February 4) is a chance to come together to celebrate and highlight the wonderful community that we have. We need your help to celebrate our students, staff and community. Please review the sign-up as there are ways to share your time, treasures and talents to help make Catholic Schools Week a huge success! 

2ND ANNUAL OLP DRIVE-UP DINNER:  Enjoy a delicious dinner catered by Jack Stack Barbeque! Each dinner will include one Jack Stack burnt end sandwich (beef, pork, and sausage mix), one side of Jack Stack beans, one side of Jack Stack potato salad, and two cookies for dessert (Jack Stack BBQ sauce and pickles also provided). Here is how it works: 

1. Place your order online at https://www.olpspiritstore.com by January 28. All orders must be placed in advance. No same day drive-up orders can be accepted. 
2. Pick-up your pre-ordered food on February 3 anytime between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. (reservations not required). Pull into a designated parking place at the west end of the parking lot (nearest the baseball field). Text the LAST NAME OF THE ORDER and the PARKING SPACE NUMBER to 816.550.4995. A food runner will deliver your order within a few minutes. 
3. Once your food has been delivered, check to make sure you have your complete order and then go home to enjoy your delicious Jack Stack dinner. 
4. If all the designated pickup spaces are full, pull into a nearby parking space and wait for the next available spot to open. Our food runners are quick, so it won’t take long. 

100% of the proceeds of this dinner benefit an OLP family in need. A huge thank you goes out to Jack Stack Barbeque for providing the amazing meal! If you have any questions about dinner, please contact Shelby Burton at theshelbyd@hotmail.com. 

**We are accepting donations for the Parish Relief Fund and to support our Catholic Schools Week programming on the evening of the dinner. Cash will be accepted or feel free to Venmo PTO, but please make sure to note what your donation is for.

YEARBOOK PHOTOS WANTED: Work has begun on the yearbook for this school year. Have you taken photos of school activities that may be considered for inclusion? Click the flyer for details on how to easily upload your photos. We appreciate you sharing your photos with us to make the yearbook a great reflection of the school year!

ACED PART-TIME POSITIONS:  OLP has openings for part-time child care staff members for our after-school program. Staff members are typically scheduled for 10 – 15 hours per week and must be available from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. on school days (flexible scheduling available). Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and enjoy working with children. Free ACED care for employee’s school-aged children offered during scheduled shifts.

Save the Date

The annual Auction will take place Saturday, April 23 at OLP. Mark your calendars and make plans to attend. It's the largest fundraiser of the year and always a good time! More information to come as the event approaches. Tickets on sale March 25.

UNIFORM SWEATSHIRTS: Sweatshirts will ONLY be available on the OLP Spirit Store site moving forward and no longer can be purchased through Sycamore. Most sizes are available, but some are not due to limited stock and inventory shortages. If you have any questions please feel free to contact Jacquie Stenger at stenger.jacquie@gmail.com or PTO at pto@olplsschool.org. 

NEXT PTO MEETING: Join us for the first PTO Meeting of 2022! Get involved with PTO and help plan activities for the second half of the school year. The meeting will take place Tuesday, February 1; 6:30 p.m. in the Donovan Room.

SCRIP INFO: SCRIP sales are still going strong! Have your orders placed by Monday afternoon to get them delivered to your child on Friday! Gift cards are no longer going to be sold after school. Cards will be sold at all four Masses the third weekend of every month, Stewardship Weekends! 

MINI PANTHERETTE CLINIC: The Mini Pantherette Clinic is back and open to girls in Pre-K thru 2nd grade. Please see the flyer for important dates and information. Deadline to register is January 14, so don't wait! If you have any questions, please contact olppanthercheer@gmail.com.
