SeaKeepers Featured on PBS Changing Seas

SeaKeepers was featured in WPBT2's Changing Seas' Sponge episode, which highlighted the research by NSU scientist Dr. Jose Lopez onboard Fleet Miami vessel DISCOVERY Yacht  Mystique in the Bahamas. The episode aired on June 22nd. 

Nanolander Deployment

SK joined Scripps onboard D/Y  Niyama  with SK Scientific Advisory Council member, Kevin Hardy, for the deployment of a nanolander off of the San Diego coast.

French American Climate Talks on Ocean (FACT-O)

On July 1st, SeaKeepers participated in the 1st FACT-O conference, in conjunction with Tara Expeditions, a French non-profit initiated by 2012 SeaKeeper Award recipient, agnès b. The round table discussion covered coral reefs, ocean biodiversity, and climate change.
