Student Paper Competition Opportunity

The American National Standards Institute has announced its annual Student Paper Competition. This year’s theme is the use of standards in the global fight against COVID-19 and students are asked to explore the use, or absence, of standards in response to the pandemic. Students enrolled full- or part-time during the period of September 2020 to April 2021 are eligible to submit a paper for consideration. Cash prizes will be given to first- and second-place winners. All entries must be submitted by April 30. Please send all questions to ANSI staff member Lisa Rajchel at lrajchel@ansi.org.

Call for Presentations on Machine Learning

The Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics is planning a Machine Learning Power Hour for the spring term. The event will consist of brief 10-minute presentations by graduate students on their research with machine learning, followed by feedback from experts in the field and a Q&A session on their presentations. If you are a graduate student interested in presenting at the event, fill out the online form.

Employment Opportunity

Do you love talking about your student experience at Drexel? Are you an outgoing, organized person?
