“Public policy continues to be a major element of business practices based in integrity and growth,” states Tuscany. “Our political leaders, especially on a local and state level, are our community and we are obligated to pursue solid communication and goals between elected representatives and our corporate leaders.”
The Central Florida Political Leadership Institute (PLI) was developed by business leaders in Central Florida and is managed through the Orlando Economic Partnership and is a non-partisan, regional initiative designed to prepare and strengthen the next generation of public leaders to potentially seek a government board or commission.
Tuscany was appointed to the Florida Film and Entertainment Advisory Committee more than a decade ago and she is consistently involved in activities that support the entertainment production industry in the State of Florida. She was selected for the “Top Central Florida Women Who Mean Business”, was chosen as one of Central Florida’s 100 Most Influential Women Who Mean Business and was included in Florida Trend Magazine’s Floridian of the Year issue.
She is a past board member with the Orlando Advertising Federation (OAF) and of Women in Film and Television Florida and previous member of NATPE and the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, New York Chapter. She has also been an Industry Advisory Council Member of Employ Florida Banner Center for Creative Industries and is a frequent volunteer in both Orange and Brevard counties. Pamela currently participates on the Board of Directors for the Casper Glattfelder Association (Pennsylvania).
