Red Sea Advisory #3
Dear Clients and Agents,
Further to December advisories regarding the situation throughout the Red Sea, many vessel operators have continued plans of re-routing cargo in the region. Other carriers have canceled services completely for various calls in the Middle East.
Troy Container Line will implement the following surcharges which reflect the increase in operational costs to continue shipping on these routes.
Effective Date: For any cargo with a sailing date of January 22nd or after.
Emergency Surcharge Fee (ESF)
USA to Middle East: $30w/m
USA to India Subcontinent: $8w/m
Surcharge is valid for any cargo moving to or via any of these destinations.
We will continue to monitor the situation to keep you up to date with any changes or mitigation of these charges as they happen.
