Holistic Mission Webinar

In response to the global impact of COVID-19 on the mission of the church, the Baptist World Alliance developed and released a Holistic Mission Guide featuring over fifty articles from around the world. To expound on the ideas and principles found within the guide, the BWA Commission on Mission is hosting a 3-part webinar series.

The third webinar in the series will take plan March 22 at 3 pm (GMT+8:00, Singapore) and will guide church leaders and grass root church members through the theme of “Suffering” with presentations from Israel Oluwole Olofinjana and Dr. Wati Longchar. A redux presentation will be offered on March 31.
It was both heartbreaking and humbling to receive reports this week from our Ukrainian sisters and brothers who are living out their faith in the most challenging of circumstances.

Please take a moment to watch this video to hear how Baptists have already been impacted by the invasion and how your global Baptist family is responding. Prayer for People in Need

Dear God,
there are so many people in need!
Like everyone in this world,
refugees are in need of a place to live,
a warm bed, food, clothing, a decent wash…
Dear God, you know that we need all those things,
but, most of all, we need people who care,
to share our love, our hope and our future.
We need to be needed.
Dear God, you know that we are in need.
Come and give us a hand! Amen.
