Casa de los Arcos
June 2022

We just returned from our first adventure in two years, exploring the Copper Canyon in northern Mexico. We made our journey by train traveling into the mountains and depths of the canyon. A stunning and spectacular trip .

The grandeur of the Copper Canyon It is an impressive four times larger than the Grand Canyon and in some places deeper.

The Raramuri are indigenous people of the Copper Canyon. Their name when translated means people of the swiftly running feet. They are well known for their running. They live a very basic life and are mostly subsistance farmers. Many women create beautiful artisan work.

Vallarta is quiet and catching its breath after a very hectic tourist season. The rains are just starting and the jungle is turning a lush green once again.
Enjoy your summer .
