Teacher Spotlight: Erin Cunningham, OER World History Project

RBHS social studies teacher, Erin Cunningham, is a Teacher Leader for the OER World History Project, a history curriculum that helps prepare students for college, career, and AP Exams. She has attended summits and hosted AP Exam writing workshops for her OER Project colleagues.

Teacher Spotlight: Michele Koehler, PAESMT Finalist

The Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) are the highest honors bestowed by the United States government for K-12 STEM teaching, with up to 108 teachers awarded each year. RBHS science teacher, Michele Koehler, is one of three Illinois finalists.

Girls Golf looking for Conference Title

Girls Golf currently are undefeated in their conference and compete against South Elgin on 9/15. Good luck, girls!

First Mindful Chatter Session!

The Student Services Department hosted the first Mindful Chatter session on Tuesday. The Loft at 8 Corners provided more information about their mental health services and calendar events.

NAMI Presentation

NAMI gave a presentation to students on the importance of mental health and ending the stigma. They discussed signs of mental health decline and ways to help, as well as important resources.
