Praying for a New Director of Worship Arts
This week, as we come before God in prayer for a new worship director, let's use this prayer of David's from Psalm 51:3-4a,7-12 (NIVUK)

For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me.
Against you, you only, have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight.
Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow
Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones you have crushed rejoice.
Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity.
Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit to sustain me.
  Amen

Let these ancient words uttered by David be personal to your life and present circumstances as you pray this week. May they bring transparency to your relationship with the God of the Universe, repentance, forgiveness and bring you "the joy of His salvation" (as promised !!).

This one was a stumper. It's one of the plethora of crosses located on Pastor John's office wall. Yes, the Spanish was tricky.

Join us on Instagram or Facebook for our "Where's that located?" game! 🧐
On Monday we publish an up close and personal image of something on the church property and then see if you can name the item and where it's located. 🤔

SRP Funding
The Sanctuary Renovation Project is nearly done and services have already begun. Stop by if you would like to see how great the sanctuary looks. At the end of 2021, total giving to the sanctuary renovation project was $27,483 (over 2/3 of the way to our goal of $40,000). Again, thanks to those who have given one-time donations and those who continue to support the project with monthly contributions. If you would like to see us meet the goal soon, please consider a one-time or a monthly contribution to the SRP.
