ANP FALL/WINTER CONCERT
The music team is thrilled to announce our annual fall/winter concert of the year. Our students are already working hard on their repertoire, and they are excited! This year, the concert will be spread over seven weeks by grade level. The dates are below:

  • October 18th, Kindergarten
  • October 25th, Fourth Grade
  • November 1st, First Grade
  • November 8th, Third Grade
  • November 15th, Second Grade

The concert will be held in the Archway MPR shortly after dismissal. The performing students will remain with their homeroom teachers and will be escorted down to the MPR as a class with their belongings. You are welcome to pick-up siblings at regular dismissal to attend your student(s) concert.

The Paradise Valley Baptist Church has graciously allowed us to utilize their parking lot for these events. If you are attending the concert, please park in their parking lot (off of Hearn) instead of the ANP parking lot to avoid lengthening the dismissal procedures. Performances will begin at 3:50 pm and doors to the MPR will open at 3:40 pm. Please line up along the glass window prior to admission.

Please inquire with your student’s music teacher if your student is absent for their performance, and or you have any questions about the performance. Please email the music teachers:

TEACHER SPOTLIGHT

Ms. Takash, Lead 1B Teacher
Ms. Takash was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona and is happy to be back in her hometown. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from ASU, she moved to Seattle to work in marketing for three years. Although she enjoyed the creative environment, she felt something was missing. She has always wanted to teach, and decided to go back to school and finally pursue her dream. She now holds a Masters degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. Before teaching 1st grade, she taught kindergarten and is thrilled to celebrate her second year at ANP.
Ms. Takash loves spending time with family and friends, hiking, swimming, and being outside. She believes that every student has something they can teach her, and is excited to learn with them every day.
First Quarter Volunteer Opportunities

There are a variety of opportunities to volunteer and work towards Getting Your 10 In! Did you know donations also count towards volunteer hours? Each event where you make a donation, will count as 1 hour.

Check out some of the opportunities below:
  • Nurse Donations: Sometimes a band aid fixes everything. Consider picking up donations for the Nurse’s Office the next time you are shopping.
  • Lunch Program Volunteer Opportunities: The Lunch Program volunteers assist with helping pass out hot lunches.
  • Assisted Lunch Program (Forgotten Snacks/Lunch): Food and Snacks donations are needed for scholars who forgot to bring their snack or lunch.

Ready to volunteer? You can sign up here!
