Dear Members and Friends,

I'm excited to introduce this new monthly newsletter, designed to keep you informed about MPOA and Beach Park developments as well as news from the City of Naples and beyond. Our goal is to provide information that both enhances your experience at the Beach Park and fosters connections with your neighbors and The Moorings community.

This is a very busy time of year with ongoing restoration at the Beach Park, renewals for the upcoming 2024 season, a new sticker process, the restart of monthly Board meetings and new bathroom lock codes. Stay informed by reading this issue, send feedback, and be on the lookout each month for MPOA News.

See you at the Beach Park.

Cliff Holland,

President of the MPOA

What You Need to Know About the New 2024 Stickers:

Green Means Go

You will receive two stickers per vehicle with your 2024 renewal. The RFID sticker is part of the ongoing transition to automated gates and the traditional window sticker will remain in use as a backup. Both stickers must be placed on your windshield by the park attendants.

As a vehicle enters through the gate, the RFID sticker will trigger the 'traffic light' signal as Green for a valid sticker or Red for either no sticker or an expired one. This instant signal allows the park attendants to do their jobs more effectively.

For all members who have renewed or joined for 2024, auto decals will be available at the Beach Park beginning November 1st. Please allow for the 7-day processing period between your payment and your arrival at the park. The attendants will enter the sticker information into the new system and affix the stickers to your car.

Thank you for helping to prevent holiday backups by renewing now.

Automatic Gate Update

The automatic Beach Park gates will continue to be tested and adjusted when necessary.

The Entrance Gate will automatically open at Sunrise for those who enjoy early morning beach access and will close at Sunset.

The Exit Gate automatically opens when a vehicle (car, golf cart, scooter) approaches. Approach the gate slowly, as it will open when the vehicle passes over the sensors. Pedestrians and bikers should enter and exit through the Entrance Gate.
