Men's Ministry Mini Golf Outing
The first Men’s Ministry Gathering will be on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 8:00 am for Mini Golf. We will set up in the Our Saviour’s parking lot if the weather is nice, or in the Fellowship Hall if it rains. We will have a devotion, and will allow plenty of time for fellowship and putting. Bring your own golf ball, putter, and folding chair.

If you want to design one of the holes, please contact Dan Zollner. In addition to low score (senior and junior divisions), there will be an award for best design (won by Pastor John last year).

Bible Journaling
What a beautiful gathering the Bible Journaling Group had last week!

The theme was “Being Connected”, which focused on being connected with Christ, Family, Friends, Fellow Our Saviour's Members and people we have yet to know.

Nine wonderful women gathered together at The Celebration Campus to express our connections through journaling, prayer and conversations.
At the end of our meeting we took apart the symbol of our connection (the paper chain) and wrote prayer requests on them, which were then taken shared with the members to add to their prayer lists. We are blessed by our bible journaling connection and open our arms to connect with new members at any time! Contact Jean Jepson at jeanjepson@oursaviours.com to learn more.

Help Afghan Refugees
The Our Saviour's Refugee Ministry expected this Fall to be busy. We partner with World Relief (WR), a church-affiliated resettlement organization that supports families starting a new life in America. World Relief anticipated they would settle about 700 individual refugees this coming year. Now, World Relief anticipates another 150 Afghan individuals will be added to this total, a 20% increase.

We don’t know how many are single individuals or are in families. We do know that their needs will be extensive since many fled Afghanistan with only the clothes they were wearing.

World Relief needs cash to meet immediate family needs such as food, toiletries, clothing and bus passes.
