Shavuot
Sunday, May 16, 7:30 pm

Join the Congregations of the Southside Jewish Collaborative for an evening of learning, music, and reflection as we celebrate the holiday of revelation and Torah. Using the familiar words of the Torah service liturgy as a frame, we will explore how Torah is a tree of life, a pathway of peace, and an inspiration to be our best selves.

Do you know a recent college graduate that is excited about teen engagement and looking for their first great job? We’re so excited to offer the new Koret Fellowship for College Graduates, an amazing year-long, full-time (paid!) program for young professionals to engage, connect and inspire teens to bring about change and support communities in need, guided by Jewish values, texts, and wisdom. Koret Fellows will receive training in the areas of engagement, social action, and community organizing, and learn how to seamlessly weave Judaism into their work as a JFCS teen engagement professional. These 4 fellows, assigned to Bay Area regions, will be part of a cohort where they will set personal and professional goals, choose an area of growth, and meet regularly for professional development and networking opportunities. Apply by May 30.
