Massive communications: yes, Email is great, but have you ever thought about texting?

Whether used to mark a special occasion or a special day, such as International Women's Day, mass-mailing is an essential component of marketing practices.

But if this method is effective in reaching clients, what about when you want to contact candidates?

This is where the SMS sending platforms come out of the game. Indeed, if email campaigns remain a pillar of marketing strategies, statistics related to mobile use disrupt beliefs when they are used to transmit an informative message, for example a replacement offer or an interview confirmation.

The 3 advantages of SMS over email:

Accessibility: An average user checks their smartphone 94 times in a day, according to Tecmark

The SMS open rate is phenomenal! While email rates stagnate at 20%, SMS open rates are 98%, according to a Gartner study published in 2016.

Deliverability: Unless you have been specifically reported by the user as an unwanted correspondent, and - of course - have the correct phone number, your SMS will always reach its destination. On the other hand, we realize that every second email sent in mass falls directly into the Junk mailbox and therefore loses a huge chance of being consulted in time.

Do you want to quickly propose a replacement to several candidates or validate an assignment with peace of mind? Think about sending an SMS!
 A function
in the spotlight

Sending a text message:
did you tick the right property?

Did you know that PRIM Logix allows the sending of SMS directly from the software, from the contextual communication menu? This functionality is not automatic, and requires having been configured beforehand, to synchronize PRIM Logix with your SMS sending provider.

I have an external SMS sending provider but the option to send SMS is not showing, why?

In 95% of cases, the solution to this problem can be found in the file of the contact to whom the user wishes to send the communication. In fact, unlike the email address, the main phone number is not entered by default as the one to use for sending SMS to avoid unwanted usage charges.
Therefore, to send an SMS to a contact, check that the property is checked in his file.

Should we celebrate functions in the company?

In our last blog post, our colleague Mélissa puts forward the idea of marking a special day for different types of positions in the company: "we should celebrate days for each function held in the company: integrators’ day, programmers’ day, etc."

What do you think ? Do such days already take place within your agency? Do you think this is a waste of time or a gain in cohesion?
Do not hesitate to share your testimony with us on our Facebook page or LinkedIn

Is Computer Science a "guy's environment"?

On International Women's Day, we gave the floor to the women who are part to the PRIM Logix team, to highlight them and underline their exceptional contribution. We took the opportunity to ask them if, ultimately, Computer Science is really a "guy's environment" ...

International Women's Day or Women's Rights Day?

To unite women's emancipation movements and to support their demand for the right to vote, at the turn between the 19th and 20th centuries, progressive political parties and unions are starting to celebrate an “International Women's Day”, the first of which took place exactly 110 years ago, in 1911.

In 1977, the United Nations formalized the day and set the date for March 8, perhaps in memory of the beginnings of the Bolshevik Revolution, started by women in 1917. An “official UN holiday for women's rights and world peace” more commonly known as “International Women's Day” has since been celebrated throughout the world, to recall the victories (women's right to vote was not yet 40 years old in Quebec) and the battles still to be carried out (the free recourse to abortion would not be acquired until 1988).

While it is more convenient to write "Women's Day" or "International Women's Day", others prefer to avoid any amalgamation with a marketing operation and are keen to specify that it is a day in favor of the “rights” of women in the world.

So, should we say “International Women's Day” or “Women's Rights Day”? Well, both! But above all, do not say "Happy Women's Day"!
