Dear Noble Families,
Greetings to you on this mid-March day, as the weather continues to flip from winter to spring, and back again. Best to all of you as we work our way through this very unique school year.
An update was sent on Monday with information about Early Childhood Online Registration for summer and fall, a new bus tracking app for families, and a child care survey regarding the change in school start times. That information is included again in this newsletter. Please note that the child care survey is due tomorrow if you would like to complete one.
Please join me next Thursday, March 25, for the principal's listening session, which starts at 6:00 pm. followed by the Noble PTA meeting starting at 6:30. Google Meet codes can be found in the "Noble Elementary PTA Update" in this newsletter.
Noble has partnered with Every Meal (formerly The Sheridan Story) to ensure students receive a healthy breakfast and lunch each day. Every Meal is a free weekend food program available to all families. The program provides 4-5 pounds of non perishable food in different bag types to correspond with various dietary preferences. There is information included in this weekly communication (please the Every Meal section below). Additionally, please watch for program information and how your student(s) can enroll in their backpacks this week.
We have one more week before Spring Break, which begins on Monday, March 29. Students will return to school on Tuesday, April 6.
Be well, Noble Lions, and continue to stay safe!
Sincerely,
Principal Michael Rieckenberg

Additional Food Benefits
Families who are eligible for free or reduced meals for the 2020-2021 school year may qualify for the “Pandemic-Electronic Benefit Transfer” (P-EBT). This gives families the option to purchase food for the days their children are not in school. Applications can be submitted any time throughout the school year. Please note, families who received P-EBT benefits previously are not automatically eligible, and still need to apply.
Benefits may be retroactive to September 2020, depending on when eligibility for free or reduced-price meals began. To ensure you qualify for the most benefits, please submit your application for educational benefits as soon as possible. Head to rocketscan.rdale.org to apply.
In addition, families are asked to update their address and email. If we do not have your correct address, your benefits could be delayed.
