REV. YADENEE HAILU
When you imagine pathways to personal, social and ecological healing and regeneration, what do you see? Who is with you on your journey? What transforms and gives way to new beginnings? Who and/or what are you accountable to along the way? Join UU Ministry for Earth and The Reverend Yadenee Hailu for a special Earth Sunday worship service exploring these questions in a collective journey on the pathways to healing and regeneration. Rev. Florence Caplow from our church will offer the Call to Worship.

EMILY MCKOWN
Emily McKown, Youth Coordinator, explores questions on youth and young adult ministry. Grounded in our faith tradition’s history, both locally and continentally, we find ourselves at a pivotal moment. When so many young people are raised U.U.–never to be seen again–how do we reframe our approach to ministry for young people to make meaningful and lasting connections? How do we help our young people to thrive in beloved community?

Please consider donating to the Little Free Pantries run by Julie Laut and AJ Herzog, which they have kept active daily since late spring. In order to address increased and unique needs this winter, they have created an Amazon wish list. All items will be delivered to Julie's house and shared between the two pantries. Donations of all items will continue to be accepted as usual at both locations, if you want to bring them in person.
Thank you for your support and generosity ~ Julie and AJ

From Julie Laut: Please continue to remember my friend in your thoughts and prayers as she moves through the immediate aftermath of her stem cell transplant. She's in the hospital and currently stable with all medical markers on track. As a Christian, she has found solace in knowing people are offering prayers.
From Sue Stock: Sue Stock and Anthony Brienza share that they were able to see their friend Nancy in hospice yesterday. We are keeping Nancy and her wife Johanne in our hearts.
From Ellen Jacobsen: Traveling to DC to see the kids!! Excited.
From Kathleen Holden: Good news! David is recovering at home. Thanks for your cards and good wishes.
From Umeeta Sadarangani: My favorite aunt has been diagnosed with cancer and is entering treatment this week. She will have to go to the hospital for her treatments—in Mumbai, where COVID cases are peaking. Please keep her in your thoughts.
Please send your joys or sorrows to joysandsorrows@uucuc.org any time before the Joys and Sorrows portion of the service. They will be read aloud.

Thank you and congratulations to the UUCUC community for making this year's service auction a big success! Over two nights 75 bidders and dozens of donors helped us raise just over $20,000 for our church home. It was thrilling to watch the bidding escalate as the clock ticked down on Saturday night!
