It’s not too late to take a summer class at RVCC. A six-week session begins July 10. Summer is a great opportunity for college students to earn extra credits and save money and for high school juniors and seniors to jumpstart their college education.

Instant Decision & Registration Days

Take the steps to enroll for the Fall Semester all in one day. Attend one of our Instant Decision & Registration Days, July 11 and August 1, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., in the Event Center. Fall Semester classes begin August 30.
Information Sessions

Get all of your questions about RVCC answered at an Information Session. Learn about the admissions process and tour the campus. Upcoming events focus on the College’s Beauty programs and a special virtual session titled “I’ve Applied, What’s Next.”
RVCC Student Wins Prestigious National Scholarship

Liam Boyle of High Bridge is one of 60 high-achieving community college students selected nationally to receive the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation’s Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship. Boyle, a member of the RVCC Honors College, plans to continue his studies in Mechanical Engineering this fall at Princeton University.
RVCC Part of NIIMBL’s Largest Cohort for Summer eXperience Program

The National Institute for Innovation in Manufacturing Biopharmaceuticals (NIIMBL) has announced the selection of 44 college freshman and sophomores to participate in the 2023 NIIMBL eXperience. It is the largest cohort to date since the program launched in 2019. Fourteen students are participating in the program at RVCC, one of three sites selected nationwide.
RVCC Awards Degrees, Certificates to Approximately 1,100 Graduates

RVCC awarded associate degrees and certificates to approximately 1,100 graduates at its commencement last month. The program featured Sarah Lopez of Somerset as the student commencement speaker.
New Jersey All-State Academic Team

RVCC students Jennifer Barnickel of Flemington and John Vargas of North Plainfield are among the 37 New Jersey community college students named to the 2023 New Jersey All-State Academic Team. In addition, Barnickel is being recognized by Phi Theta Kappa and the Coca-Cola Foundation as part of the USA All-State Academic Team competition and is receiving a Coca-Cola Scholarship.
Students Receive Fellowship

RVCC Service Learning Program students Francesca Barbiero and Bella Gonzalez, Human Services/Pre-Social Work majors, have been accepted as inaugural Engage NJ Kesselman Fellows for the Advancement of Democracy for the 2023-2024 academic year.
“Trends in Nursing Service Learning Award”

Nine Nursing students have been honored with RVCC’s inaugural “Trends in Nursing Service Learning Award.” The award recognizes students from the Trends in Nursing class for excellence demonstrated through their service learning project.
Center for Environmental Studies

Capstone Projects

Fifteen students from the RVCC Honors College presented their independent Capstone Research Course projects during a recent symposium.
