TRICOUNTY HEALTH REMINDERS
  • While at school masks are required inside at all times and outside if 6 feet of socially distancing is not attained. ex: students playing basketball will need to wear masks.
  • Students and teachers that have received a COVID vaccine are still required to wear a mask.
  • Students and teachers that have received a COVID vaccine are still not permitted on campus with any symptoms.

Boot camp style – 3.5 hours a day and 3 days a week for HS English and Math.​

When: June 8 – 10 and 15 – 17 ​
Time: 8:30 am – 12 pm or 12:30 – 4 pm

Venue capacity is 175 (25 students being in the outside area) so 165 tickets and 10 chaperones

  • Monday, April 19- Graduating Seniors- $28 (Estimated 70) - Available until April 30
  • Monday, April 26- Seniors- $28 (Estimated 70) - Available until April 30
  • Friday, April 30- Juniors- $33 (Estimated 15) 
  • *Tickets for all Seniors act similar to early bird- if they don’t buy tickets before the 27th then they have to pay the $33* 

If students do not follow the rules, they will be asked to leave and will not receive a refund.
ACC WITHDRAWAL DATE
The ACC withdrawal date is April 30th. If you are considering withdrawing from a class, please contact your advisor as soon as possible.

Transportation - we are looking for skilled drivers that will ensure the safe, comfortable and efficient transportation of students. Drivers will work 30 hours per week with benefits!

Food Services - we are looking for people that are passionate about working in kitchens that make from scratch meals that operate with the National School Lunch Program.

CEC INVERNESS SUMMER CAMPS!
Art Camp - June 7-11 - 8am-12pm
Any students in grades 6-12 can sign up for Art Camp at CEC Inverness with Mr. Vialpando. The cost is $100 per student. Anyone interested can email Nick Vialpando to enroll, you do not have to be a CEC Inverness student. Please share with friends!
Jedi Fencing Camp - June 14-18 - 9am-3pm
Any students in grades 6-12 can sign up for Jedi Fencing Camp at CEC Inverness. Long ago in a galaxy far away the Jedi Knights protected the innocent from evil doers. Now is your child's time to join the Jedi Ranks and become a hero! This camp is designed for participants of all skill levels. Beginners will learn the fundamentals of fencing. After one week of practice campers will learn the history of fencing, footwork, and bladework. For progressive and intermediate fencers, our experienced coaches will provide level-appropriate instruction. The cost is $275 per student. Anyone interested can sign up at fencingacademysport.com/camps/cec-camps, you do not have to be a CEC Inverness student. Please share with friends!

Concurrent Enrollment students are welcome and encouraged to utilize the many academic supports offered through ACC. We’d like to highlight the tutoring options, as it’s not too late for students to utilize these resources to help them finish out the current semester.

Tutoring
LinkedIn Learning—Through the ACC portal, students can access over 16,000 courses, most about two hours long, on every subject under the sun.

Library and Learning Commons— The Library & Learning Commons is here to support ACC students. You have off-campus access to scholarly articles, streaming videos, and over 300,000 ebooks by using the access code ACC2021CE when prompted for your CE login.

CU Denver K-12 Outreach will be hosting various virtual events for those interested in financial literacy. They are here to help students, parents, high school partners, and the community with navigating the daunting task of preparing for college and securing funding to help pay for their education. Colorado Virtual Career Fair
Colorado students can connect live with professionals representing all 17 career clusters, and multiple ethnicities, backgrounds, and parts of Colorado. The fair will be from April 19-22. To view the schedule, register for the fair, and get more information visit youthcareerfair.org.

American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA)
Designed exclusively for students in 6th through 12th grades, the free AIAA High School Membership provides activities, competitions, and scholarships that will promote STEM and STEAM educational programs. In the short month this option has been offered, we have welcomed 430 budding aerospace scientists and engineers to AIAA.
 
This membership opportunity is an important part of AIAA outreach to help build a future aerospace workforce that represents the diversity of perspective and thought needed in the industry. Now more than ever, the aerospace industry must embrace diversity of all forms to meet the challenges of the future.
