Greetings!

Vote by February 15th!
San Francisco Special Election

San Francisco residents have an important election between now and Tuesday, February 15th. Have you submitted your ballot yet? Perhaps you are feeling a bit overwhelmed by the choices?

On the ballot:
  • Vote ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ on recalling SFUSD School Board Commissioners Alison Collins, Gabriela Lopez and Faauuga Moliga
  • Elect San Francisco’s Assessor-Recorder
  • Voters residing in Assembly District 17 will also have the opportunity to elect the Member of State Assembly (Where is District 17?)

ECESF is here to keep you plugged into the conversations driving school board politics and education policy–which of course affects our ECE programs and policy. Off season elections are determined by fewer voters—making your vote matter more than ever!

Remind your colleagues, friends, and family—vote!

Prop C Spending Plan!

Stay on top of local ECE policy discussions regarding San Francisco’s ECE spending plan and Prop C funds. Review the public presentation of the Office of Early Care and Education’s (OECE’s) spending plan. Join the CPAC General Meeting tomorrow, Feb. 9, at 9:15-11:30 am for a public presentation.

In solidarity,
Sara & Anna

If you are registered to vote with an address in San Francisco, a vote-by-mail ballot will automatically be mailed to you. Did you forget to register? You can still vote! Go to City Hall or your polling place and tell them you want to "register conditionally and vote provisionally."
