Save the Date: CORE Circle of Excellence Awards Parking Lot Pick Up & Virtual Event Awards will be available for pick up at the CORE Branchburg office on Tuesday, May 25 and at the CORE Trenton office on Thursday, May 27. New Jersey Realtors' "President's Challenge" The Realtors Political Action Committee (RPAC) is holding a new online auction, the "President's Challenge," in which each of NJ's local associations has been asked to put together a gift basket that contains activities and items that are known in their respective territories. Continuing Education (CE)

License Renewal Deadline is Approaching The NJ Real Estate Commission has waived the $200 processing fee (late fee) until May 31 and has extended the current CE cycle to complete all NJ CE requirements until July 19. All real estate licensees are required to renew their license for the new term beginning July 1. Agents are urged to talk to their brokers regarding to submitting the renewal fee to the NJ Real Estate Commission. Licensees are also required to complete the Qualifying Questionnaire prior to renewing their license.

Check Your PSI Account to Ensure Your CE Requirements are Met Be sure to log into your PSI CE Tracking System account to verify that you have met all of the requirements to renew your license.

New Fair Housing CE Requirement On April 6, the NJ Real Estate Commission declared that all licensees are required to complete the Fair Housing continuing education (CE) requirement to renew their license. Make sure you complete ALL of your NJ CE requirements before May 31 to avoid a late fee of $200.

“Complying with the Fair Housing Act" New Jersey Realtors offers a one-hour, at-your-own-pace, no-cost CE class which qualifies for the NJ Fair Housing CE requirement. Register here for the class: you will need to log into ACE to find the class.

NJ.gov: "Your Voice, Your Shot" Video Contest This week Governor Murphy announced the “Your Voice, Your Shot” video contest, which urges New Jersey residents to share why they and others are getting vaccinated. After the submission window closes on May 11, a select number of finalists will be chosen. The public will then be invited to vote on their favorites. The winning video will be used in the State of New Jersey's COVID-19 public health campaign. Learn more about the contest guidelines.

Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA): Funeral Assistance for Those Who Have Lost Loved Ones to COVID-19 As part of the American Rescue Plan, FEMA has begun accepting applications for funeral assistance for New Jerseyans who have lost loved ones to COVID-19. New Jerseyans who paid for funeral expenses after January 20, 2020, for an individual whose death may have been caused by or was likely the result of COVID-19 can apply for up to $9,000 of assistance per funeral through FEMA’s dedicated call center at (844) 684-6333.
