Join the Food Buggy on Tuesday, April 26th from 11-2 outside the student center! The Food Buggy will be selling walking tacos!

The Food For Thought food buggy, at its core, fulfills John Carroll University's comprehensive and holistic Jesuit mission while actualizing the University as a social entrepreneurship leader in Cleveland.

Students will implement the Food Buddy to sell lunch for a profit during the day, and use profits to feed Cleveland's homeless during nights and weekends!

Our Magis Message for the week comes from Nora McKee, a junior majoring in Communications with a concentration in Digital Media!

"While working with the girls at the JDC, I had to confront a few of my own problematic ways of approaching service. I had to unlearn my constant worry for what's next. I had to be where my feet were and fully engage in the important conversations and discussions the way I would want someone to do for me. I had to unlearn my ideas of 'fixing' the people that need our support, and to instead approach my Tuesday nights with grace and patience to listen and uplift..."
Our second Magis Message for the week comes from Sara Sfeir, a sophomore majoring in Biology!

"After doing my first semester at the Jennings Center in Fall of 2021, I knew that I wanted to take this service site again this semester. This experience has been one of the greatest experiences I have been through and with no doubt changed my views on the world and on myself..."
