WOMAN'S HISTORY MONTH PRESENTS
THE GIRL SCOUTS
The Girl Scouts were founded by Juliette Low in 1912. They have been consistently supportive of girls and women from the beginning, encouraging girls and young women in leadership, in activities traditionally considered "masculine," and expanding the boundaries of possibility for so many. They have been radically inclusive from the beginning, ensuring their policies and practices posed no barriers based on race, ethnicity, income, faith, social status, sexuality, or gender identity. Troops are formed wherever girls and young women are interested and wish to join--cities, country, suburbs, juvenile detention facilities, military bases, and more. Girl Scouts are allied with Girl Guides around the world, and participate in international events in STEM, camping, conservation, space, the arts, and many more. For many women today, their first experiences of leadership opportunities, acceptance, and empowerment were in Girl Scout spaces. Girl Scouts are more than sellers of delicious cookies! GARAGE SALE LEAD(S) &

GARAGE SALE LEAD(S)
We are looking for a few volunteers that would like to be the organizers for our spring garage sale. The date the Board picked was May 14th with a rain date of May 21st. GRASS CUTTING
If you would like to volunteer to cut grass during the season, please click on the link below and sign-up for the weeks you would like to do it. We have a mower so all you will need is the key to the garage to access it. You can do it once or a few times.

SPRING CLEANUP
Mary Ann Latsaras will be heading up the cleanup of the grounds for Spring on April 2nd, 9 am to 2 pm. The rain date will be April 9th. If you would like to help with the cleanup of the grounds, please let Mary Ann know or signup on the volunteer portal. Lunch will be served.
