Connecting with Communities Through Partnerships
Contra Costa County Library

Contra Costa County Library partnered with several organizations to engage on civic engagement, including hosting a variety of virtual programs with the League of Women Voters and working with County Elections to install ballot boxes at their libraries. The "Women of Color: Activists Then & Now” program featured an expert historians and activists’ panel exploring how women of color have taken lead roles in shaping U.S. policies and history through the modern day.

Raising Awareness for Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia
Carmel Clay Public Library

Carmel Clay Public Library recently launched a three-part online series focusing on awareness for Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, presented by the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Indiana Chapter. During the hour-long sessions, these presentations will introduce helpful information, strategies and breakthroughs.
Resources for the Crisis in Ukraine
Barrie Public Library

Barrie Public Library curated a list of resources in response to the developing crisis in Ukraine. Patrons can review what is provided to further understand the current situation and learn ways to help those in Ukraine.

Helping Customers Discover Dakota County Library
Dakota County Library

Dakota County Library quickly transitioned and reimagined the services offered to library patrons during the COVID-19 pandemic through mail and curbside pickup services, strengthening Wi-Fi and providing Chromebooks and hotspots to households that lacked service.
