Hello HR Leaders,
When I think of the previous months and what we all have gone through both personally and professionally, I can think of no better word. The power or ability of a material to return to its original form, position, state, after being bent, compressed, or stretched is the definition of resilience. We have all been stretched and likely bent but it is our resilience that will push us forward in 2022 to continue to do our best.
As HR professionals we are dealing with new situations every day, ones most of us had never considered. The organizations we work for are looking to their Human Resource Leaders to help provide the answers. We must step up and instill confidence and trust in our workforces. Kansas SHRM will commit to providing the best programs and resources we can to support all of our HR colleagues across the state.
Moving ahead in 2022 we will all need support in some fashion and what better way than to volunteer and join your local SHRM Chapter or State Council and grow your professional network. Being a part of a team feels good and will surely add value. Together we can do great things.
