Amplify Wimberley Watershed
Greetings!

Today and tomorrow is the Amplify "I live here, I give here" 24-hour day of giving. Gifts made from 6pm tonight to 6pm tomorrow have match potential. Please give a gift to amplify our impact!

The Wimberley Valley Watershed Association relies on donor support to inform policies, inspire innovation, and monitor and educate. We are a busy group working across the Texas Hill Country to keep our springs, creeks, and rivers clean, clear, and flowing. Check out our accomplishments over the last year in the 2021 Accomplishments and Reflections Directors' Letter and the newly released State of the Hill Country Report from the Texas Hill Country Conservation Network (the Watershed Association is a proud founding partner of the Network).
We’re hoping to raise at least $10,000 to support our programs. Donate to the campaign now! The Amplify 24-hours of giving is today, Wednesday, March 2nd through Thursday, March 3rd.

Amplify gifts will:
  • Protect and preserve clean, clear flowing water in Jacob’s Well, Cypress Creek, the Blanco River, and across the Hill Country.
  • Expand One Water solutions in the Hill Country to extend water supplies and encourage beneficial reuse.
  • Protect water quality through innovative wastewater solutions and regulatory reform.
  • Conserve critical habitat and recharge areas by pursuing easements and public preserves.
  • Inform policy with sound science to create more sustainable communities.

If we all contribute to the solution, collectively we’ll make great strides towards smart growth, strategic roadway planning, resource protection, and nurturing an economy that helps protect what makes the Texas Hill Country iconic.
