Hello!

Happy Black History Month! Along with Detroit College Access Network and MCAN, Detroit Regional Dollars for Scholars is proud to celebrate Black voices and accomplishments this month but also recognizes that Black history is important year-round. This month we will be sharing more information about HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities), influential Black leaders, and events!

This week we're busy in the office preparing to mail out your Apply Incentives and Etiquette Workshop Boxes! We can't wait for you to get them -- be sure to look out for a UPS delivery later this week and take some pics and upload them here (photo contest extended)! Also check out the google classroom for a sneak peek at your box from Marketea!

Don't forget, seniors are required to register for the zoom Etiquette session on 2/11 here.

ATTENTION Mason High School students: Your Fundraising Week begins NEXT WEEK on Monday, February 8th! Remember the Mason student who raises the most during that week will win a gift card! Stay tuned for more details this week in a special edition of Next Level News!
