Christ Covenant Welcomes UNCC Students | | |

Christ Covenant Church welcomes students from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC) with Campus Outreach this coming Sunday morning, October 1! We hope you will look for these college students joining us on Sunday and give them a warm welcome!
Campus Outreach is a campus ministry that works through the local church to reach and develop the next generation of Christ-centered leaders on the university campus. The goal of Campus Outreach is to “Glorify God by building laborers on the campus for the lost world.” Christ Covenant Church partners with Campus Outreach to help do this and make Christ known on college campuses in our state and in our region.

O Night - Christ Covenant Outreach

All are welcome to join us this Tuesday, October 3, at 7:00 pm, in the lower Community Life Center (CLC). With it getting darker quicker in the fall we will take a break from going out into the community. For O Nights, we will have a few training times to equip us for future discussions with our neighbors. We look forward to seeing you. | |

First Friday Fellowship

All moms are welcome to join children’s ministry staff and other moms for a time of fellowship and discussion this Friday, October 6, at 10:00 am, in the Community Life Center rooms 1 & 2 (CLC). Each month we will discuss a new topic centered around interests of young moms. Childcare is available by emailing Stephanie at sbennett@christcovenant.org. HisAbilities Fall Respite Night is Saturday, October 14, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm, in the lower level of the Community Life Center (CLC). Respite Night serves parents with children impacted by disabilities or who are living with disability themselves. Faithful Conference
"Strangers in a Strange Land"

We hope you will join us for the Faithful Conference on November 11-12, 2023. This year’s theme is “Strangers in a Strange Land,” with guest speaker Carl Trueman, Professor of Biblical & Religious Studies at Grove City College and author of The Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self: Cultural Amnesia, Expressive Individualism, and the Road to Sexual Revolution, and Strange New World: How Thinkers and Activists Redefined Identity and Sparked the Sexual Revolution.
Register today at faithfulconference.org! This year’s Faithful Conference costs $10 per person, those 18 and younger are free. Paid registrations will receive a $10 off coupon at the bookstore (received by email the week of the conference) and a copy of Carl Truman’s book, Strange New World. All registrations must be submitted by Friday, November 10, at noon, to receive the coupon.
We also have free children’s programs on Saturday night for ages 4 months - 5th grade. All children’s programs on Sunday morning and Sunday evening will operate as normal. To register your child(ren) for Saturday night’s activities, register at faithfulconference.org.

Children's Sunday School Spotlight | | |
During Sunday School this morning, all our children from two years-old to fifth grade are learning about Noah’s sons and the Tower of Babel from The Biggest Story Bible Storybook curriculum, from the lesson “A Table and a Tower” on Genesis 10-11. The focus verse for the week is Genesis 11:9, “Its name was called Babel, because there the LORD confused the language of all the earth. And from there the LORD dispersed them over the face of all the earth.” If you sit near a family with young children, please take a moment to ask the children to share what they learned in Sunday School with you! | | |

Please find a free booklet of the most recent article, “3 Indispensable Requirements for Good Preaching,” located in the book nook in the main lobby and visit clearlyreformed.org for thousands of other resources. | |
ScreenStrong is an organization that comes alongside parents in learning about the topic of kids and screens. They provide vital information about the impact of screens on kids, as well as solutions to tackle the challenges linked to excessive screen time. Pickup Basketball Fellowship and Outreach | | |
Men's Ministry is starting Pickup Basketball Fellowship and Outreach this spring. We are playing Saturday mornings from 8:00 am - 10:00 am in Christ Covenant's Aux Gym located in the A building (next to the playground).
