Floor Mentors
For most LCs, students in this role are second year members who live in the Learning Community and take on mentor responsibilities on the floor(s), meeting individually with students and planning community-building activities which tie together all the key elements of an LC experience for members. They take a fall 3-credit EPSY course and participate in FYP&LC training.

Apply to be a Floor Mentor on your LC Supplemental Application, emailed to you after you apply for a Learning Community on your Housing Application.
First Year Experience (FYE) Mentors
FYE Mentors add a critical and helpful student voice in the LC curriculum by mentoring a cohort of first year students in a Learning Community First Year Experience (FYE) Class. They take a fall 3-credit EPSY course and participate in FYP&LC training. Many FYE Mentors are also current members of the LC, but you do not need to be to apply.

Students applying to be an FYE Mentor should indicate their interest in working with the Learning Community on their application, due no later than Friday, February 12.
