New TIC Effective Dates & Transfer Chart

Do you need help demystifying TIC effective dates and certification requirements for transfers?

OHFA’s Training and Technical Assistance Office has developed a new guide to clarify what you need to know to stay in compliance. This chart provides various examples and interactive references/citations to help owners/managers. Be sure to check it out.
OHFA Inspection Access

Owners should remember to ensure that all appropriate personnel have access to OHFA Inspection for a scheduled audit. When preparing for an audit, please see page 3 of the Management Questionnaire to add any personnel that need to access the Inspection Portal or the CAR. This includes staff who will need to upload tenant information. 
Updated Management Questionnaire

The management questionnaire has been updated and is effective April 1. This form must be completed when an owner is notified of an audit. Please go to our website to access the revised form.
Conquering Acquisition/Rehab Compliance Training

Conquer Acquisition/Rehab compliance during this free, three-hour webinar. You will learn about essential LIHTC topics for acq/rehab, maximizing credits, qualifying households, transfers, resyndications and more. Learning the complexities and issues for acq/rehab deals will help make your next deal a success. This training will be offered on a quarterly basis and the first session is April 13. Melanie Shapiro from the Ohio Capital Cooperation for Housing will co-present during these webinars. All training sessions will be held from 12:30-3:30pm.
OHFA’s Compliance Policies and Regulations Training

Registration for the updated Compliance Policies and Regulations Training is now available for all dates. This free, four-hour webinar focuses on OHFA's requirements for the multifamily programs it manages and will provide industry professionals with tools and knowledge of OHFA forms, policies and much more. Topics concerning COVID-19’s impact on audits and recertification requirements will be discussed. The first webinar is March 23. All training sessions will be held from 12:30-4:30pm.

OHFA has developed a new, highly sought LIHTC Essentials Training. This two-day webinar dives into the weeds on income and everything assets, LIHTC basics, qualifying households, rent and income limits, OHFA inspections and many other topics. This series will be offered twice this year. Registration will be opening soon!
