Toddler's adventures brighten LTC residents' spirits
Despite the fact that toddler Edison Tiessen doesn't know how to write, he has a following of devoted readers. Chrissy Kelton BSc '11, MBA '14 who works at a long-term care home in Toronto and Edison's mom Maylin started a newsletter Fridays with Edison to lift the spirits of the home's residents.

Written from the toddler's perspective, it captures everyday adventures such as learning to walk, a trip to the park, trying new foods, and most recently the arrival of a baby brother. The residents look forward to the publication and some have begun writing to Edison. Read the CBC article or listen an interview on The World public radio broadcast.
