Dear HW Community,
We hope that everyone was able to enjoy this weekend's winter wonderland and it made you feel like a kid again!
In a traditional school year, this past weekend would have been our Parent & Teacher Party, the event that celebrates the partnership between teachers and parents! This year, more than ever, that partnership and collaboration is on full display; next year will be one heck of a party as we can reflect on what we accomplished together this school year.
There are so many amazing events coming up, make sure to have your calendars ready! First, we are off to Japan this week with World Travelers. If you did not get your passport stamped from Egypt, you won't want to miss out on this trip. World Travelers week is topped off with Spirit Day on Friday, be sure to sport your HW gear! (and we know you have a lot of it, we had the BEST Spiritwear Sale in years! 🙌 )
The month of February brings spectacular Valentine's Day parties and this year, a LIVE Magic Show! New ways and opportunities to celebrate and build our HW Community, please join in on all the fun!
Looking ahead to March, we continue the fun with Spirit Day, Teacher Appreciation Week, STEAM Night and finally Spring Break. We are close to rounding third on the 2020-21 school year, can you believe we are making this year happen through a pandemic?! This speaks to the strength and resolve of our very special HW Community, let's keep it up!
Continue to stay positive, be kind and rock that Raccoon Pride!
HW PTO
P.S. Please make certain that you are keeping up with ALL District 36 news, potential changes and updates in the works...you want to stay informed right now!
