Virtual BOOK BUDDIES!
Does your little one have a hard time sitting through a book during his/her quiet time?
Do you find yourself skipping story time more often than not?
Let's try something new! Little ones ALWAYS want to please their teacher and may sit through a book if they knew their teacher was listening to their story time! We have nothing to lose to see if this approach works and everything to gain when it comes to reading!!
To register, email me and we will coordinate a time for me to join your story time. (Accepting children that enjoy reading too!) My email is Lreilly@selfhelpinc.org. In the subject field, please write Book Buddy. I will acknowledge your email the day it's received.
Here is the process. I will email each family individually to schedule a 10-15 minute story time.

Toddler Town (February)
Yep! Just for the toddlers! Obviously parents must accompany their child to Toddler Town by either having them sit beside you or on your lap. We will be reading a story, doing some fun teacher directed activities, sing some songs and maybe even get up and move our bodies. This activity will follow the flow of the little ones. We all know how unpredictable they can be. This will be a great way to introduce your little ones into the world of Virtual Learning. When you come to our activity, please bring a scarf, napkin, or a piece of flowy material that the children can wave back and forth.
Once you register for this activity Ms. Karen will send you an email with the info you need to join the ZOOM activity!
