Flags for Our Heroes

Honor Your Personal Hero By Sponsoring A Flag (3 ft. by 5 ft.)

We are pleased to announce the Town of Monroe's participation in the Flags for Our Heroes Program this Veterans Day and beyond. Flags for Our Heroes was created as a program to celebrate the heroes in our lives, both living and deceased. Flags can be flown for a variety of heroes including the men and women who are serving or have served as members of the military, police officers, firefighters, first responders, parents, teachers, coaches, and/or mentors, to name a few.

  • The sponsored flags will be displayed on the Field of Honor located on the front lawn of Monroe Town Hall located at 1465 Orange Turnpike from Monday, November 7th through Friday, November 18th.

  • Completed sponsorship forms should be returned to the Town Clerk's Office at Town Hall no later than November 14, 2022. Payment will be accepted in the form of cash or a check made payable to Town of Monroe. A portion of your sponsorship payment will be donated to Toys For Military Tots.

  • To ensure heroes and sponsors are correctly identified on your commemorative medallion, please honor only one hero per form (one payment may be submitted to accompany multiple forms). For a printable form, please visit https://conta.cc/3gRRrs9.
