Turnure Park
Better Than Ever
Turnure Park, a four-acre oasis between Main and Lake Streets opposite Eastview School, already offers an accessible themed playground for both toddlers and school aged children, 100 Japanese Cherry Blossom trees and free outdoor Bocce courts.
Now it has received upgrades from the City's Department of Public Works that make it better than ever. The entrance of the park was improved to be more easily accessible for wheelchairs and strollers. All paths in the park have been upgraded from asphalt to concrete; a much smoother and even surface. Finally, the lighting in the park was upgraded to Lumec, LED lights, providing more efficient and better ambient light. Enjoy Turnure -- day or night.
