OSHA Suspends Enforcement of Employer
COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing Mandate
The US Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has announced they will suspend enforcement of the Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) issued earlier this month that mandates employers to require their employees to be vaccinated for COVID-19 or be tested weekly and wear face coverings. Responding to actions by the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, OSHA “has suspended activities related to the implementation and enforcement of the ETS pending future developments in the litigation.”
