Behind the Scenes offers a slew of different resources for folks in the entertainment industry under their mental health and suicide prevention initiative. The resources are targeted at US and Canadian residents. They offer a mental health first aid kit, anonymous online self-assessment tool, therapist finder and much more.
Dr. Eric Zillmer describes crisis fatigue as "when a stressful incident becomes enduring or chronic." From the onset of the pandemic over a year ago, the news seems to be more and more overwhelming. Nicole Spector gives 7 coping tips that are just as relevant in 2021 as they were in 2020. Her number 4 tip 'to practice mindfulness' can be satisfied by a session with the Pratt Institute's free activities (see below).

The Museum of Craft and Design recently announced an opportunity to artists 18 and older for a nationwide juried and artist marketplace titled Call & Response: Craft as a Tool for Activism. BIPOC artists are encouraged to apply. The top 50 entries will be presented in the virtual exhibition.
