Weekly Newsletter 10/27/2023

Dear Parents,

Thanks to our Super Hero Staff, our 2023 Halloween Happening was a simply Spooktacular event! In all nearly 160 children and 220 guests enjoyed the costume parade and learned the following in our "practice trick or treating"...

---When you approach someone you say, "Trick or Treat"

---Next hold your bag open

---When treats are deposited in the bag...SAY THANK YOU.

These are all valuable lessons that will come in handy on 10/31 if you are taking your child out that evening. Hopefully their practice Halloween will help on the real day.

A big shout out and thank you to everyone who donated non-candy items for our parade as well as bags of candy for our drive. In all our oldest kids filled 200 bags of candy so that homeless kids will enjoy the simple joy of a bag of candy on Halloween. Your kindness also provided 58 kids with donated costumes so that despite their homelessness, these kids will have a wonderful Halloween.

In case you missed the video, scroll up to the message I posted on Wednesday for the YouTube link. It is also at the bottom of the Parent Corner in our News and Announcements section.
