Get Up, Get Out Cleanup in Action
Groups large and small are coming out for Get Up, Get Spokane River Cleanup. With the power of volunteers, thousands of pounds of trash are being removed via a partnership between the Spokane River Forum and Spokane Riverkeeper.

This week we celebrate the different ways people and groups are making it happen. Visit www.spokaneriver.net/getupgetout to sign up.
People's Park/Sandifur Bridge Public Cleanup
30 people picked up 560 pounds of trash in the People's Park/Sandifur Bridge area Saturday. This photo album celebrates both those cleaning up and those enjoying the river on a sunny morning. Smiles all around. The next public cleanup is August 15th at High Bridge in Spokane.

State Line DIY Cleanup
Spokane Conservation District added a new DIY twist. First you cleanup, then you hit the water for some tubing and paddle boarding! Awesome idea from the folks who partnered with the Forum and State Parks to build and restore this access area.

Monroe Street Bridge Private Cleanup
A couple of our friends of the Mountaineers rappelled in for cleanup under Monroe Street Bridge. Click here for photo album.
