Dear Alyssa,

As we step into the promising landscape of 2024, it is crucial to reinforce our commitment to a shared vision for New Jersey—one that transcends the challenges and uncertainties that may come our way. In the face of storms and upheaval, we press ahead, making decisions that resonate with thoughtfulness and implement policies that enrich our state.

At the onset of this new year, New Jersey Future takes a moment to reflect on our journey, encapsulating our triumphs and endeavors in our annual Year in Review. Our unflagging efforts persist in advocating for sensible policies with equitable outcomes, substantial investments in vital areas such as water and transportation infrastructure, redevelopment of our commercial, residential, and industrial spaces, and thoughtfully planning for the future ahead. Together, we are carving a path forward, achieving significant milestones for the benefit of future generations.

A few highlights from our 2023 Year in Review include:

Enactment of the Flood Disclosure Bill into law, ensuring transparency for renters and homebuyers when making housing decisions.

US Environmental Protection Agency adopted Jersey Water Works framework and cites the City of Newark as a national example of leadership on lead mitigation.

Launched the unique Water Workforce program to help fill critical jobs while opening up new employment pathways for people in underserved communities.

Developed the groundbreaking Climate Change Hazard Vulnerability Assessment Guide to help towns prepare for climate change.

As we drive statewide improvements and impact, we recognize that such endeavors thrive on your support. As you peruse our 2023 highlights, we hope that our proven track record, commitment to positive solutions, and innovative approaches inspire you to stand with us. A contribution of at least $50 not only supports our cause but also makes you a valued member of New Jersey Future for one year.

With great hope and enthusiasm for the possibilities that the new year brings,
