Greetings!
We begin with words of thanksgiving! Thank you to everyone who contributes financially to our mission and ministry. We were able to meet our expenses for 2023 and look forward to what we can accomplish in the coming year. Every gift is valuable and every gift enables us to share Christ’s love with the greatest number of people.
Sunday, January 21 – Third Sunday After Epiphany
Come and worship with us in person or from the comfort of your home. We worship every Sunday at 8:30 am, 9:45 am, and 11 am. The first two services are livestreamed and then posted on our Redeemer Video Channel.
Worship is the work of the people so there are always opportunities for you to participate. Each week we need greeters, ushers, and readers for all three services. In addition, we need acolytes for the traditional services and an assisting minister for the contemporary service. We also need volunteers to help the residents from Sunrise attend our 11 am service. Our volunteers meet them in the lobby of Sunrise at 10:40 am. Thank you to everyone who volunteers to help!

Faith Formation, Confirmation, High School, and Table Talk are all in session.
2023 Annual Reports and Annual Meeting (February 4)
The annual reports were distributed via email on Thursday. Please read them over carefully in preparation for our annual meeting to be held on Sunday, February 4, at 12 pm. We encourage all voting members to attend in person. For those who need to attend remotely, the Zoom link will be sent out soon.
For All Parents of Children – Preschool through Grade 5
Tuesday, January 23 from 7 to 7:45 pm
Redeemer Renaissance has invited Robyne Davis, a counselor in private practice and school settings, to discuss with parents how best to foster a healthy mindset and a positive approach to anxiety in our children. The event is free. Childcare is not available that night at the church. Please come as you are able to learn more.
For All Members and Friends of the Congregation
Potluck Dinner – January 28 from 5 pm to 7 pm
We are hosting a potluck dinner! Please come to meet and greet those who are new to Redeemer and those who have been worshiping with us over the past few months. It is informal but fun. Individuals and whole families are welcome! Bring a dish to share or just come!

One-Day Spiritual Retreat – February 3 from 10 am to 4 pm
We are holding a Lenten Spiritual Retreat on Saturday, February 3, from 10 am to 4 pm. This year the focus of the retreat and our Wednesday evening services will be on the Psalms. For the retreat, we will gather in a Conference room in Reston that has easy access to parking. Please sign up as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly. The cost of the retreat is $50.

2024 Commitment
