The Foundation is again proud to sponsor the LACES OF LOVE SHOE DRIVE, beginning February 17th through 21st!
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW . . .
- Over 60% of kids in Lee and Collier counties are designated “economically needy”
- Laces of Love has provided over 200,000 kids in need with new shoes since 2005
- Shoes are distributed through the Lee and Collier county public school counselors, teachers, principals, school nurses and non-profit organizations that serve needy kids
- The shoes are fitted and given in the privacy of the staff offices
WHAT DO WE NEED? HOW CAN YOU HELP?
- Boys and girls’ sneakers, children’s sizes 1-8, including half sizes (no adult, baby, or toddler shoes, please)
- Remove new shoes from the box but leave the paper in the shoes
- Drop new shoes in the collection bins at the Fitness Center, Racquet Center, Golf Bag Drop, or your Neighborhood Champion’s house
(Click Here for the list of Neighborhood Champions)
We will also be hosting a “Shoe Tagging” party at the Racquet Center on February 21st, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Laces of Love Founder Jeanne Nealon will attend, and we will hear firsthand about how we are MAKING A DIFFERENCE TOGETHER!
A big THANK YOU in advance! Your donations are very much appreciated and will have a huge impact on families in need. You can visit the Laces of Love website for more information about the amazing work they do . . .Click Here
